In 1965 Peter Popkoff founded Popkoff’s Frozen Foods in San Francisco and provided the Bay Area with traditional Russian favorites including Pelmeni and Vareniki.

Capabilities

For over 50 years we have had the pleasure of sharing Popkoff’s outstanding products with our clients and customers all over the world. In 2016, we introduced Pinched and El Rey Sabores Food Products. Our products are produced in our own state-of-the-art 50,000 sq/ft, Level 3 SQF, Non GMO Certified, USDA registered facility.

Our services include private label frozen foods and offer a full range of logistics services including cross docking, case packing, palletizing and a host of other cold storage solutions.

Using only the finest ingredients, we have built a reputation for truly superior foods, authentic flavors and exceeding the expectations of our customers’ needs. Our vegetables are all sourced locally when possible and our products contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
Our team is dedicated to producing the safest, most wholesome food possible by following strict GFSI guidelines. The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) is a collaboration of the world’s leading food safety experts representing a broad range of participants in the supply chain, from primary producer to retailer. Safe Quality Foods (SQF) is a benchmarked food safety standard meeting the GFSI requirements and currently SQF Level 3.
