10 oz Popkoff’s Potato & Onion Vareniki
1 package cold Popkoff’s Smoked Salmon
½ stick butter
12 oz sour cream
3 tbsp chives, chopped
2 lemons
6 oz black caviar or capelin roe, to garnish

Cooking Instructions

  1. Bring large pot of water to boil and add a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add ½ package of Popkoff’s Potato & Onion Vareniki and cook for 5 minutes. Drain.
  2. Heat a 12-inch sauté pan over medium-high heat. Melt butter in pan and sauté cooked vareniki for 3 minutes (do not brown).
  3. Gently fold lox around each vareniki. Add dollop of sour cream, roe/caviar and top with chives. Serve with lemon wedge.
